This guide provides straightforward instructions on how to access and utilize the funds in your Health Savings Account (HSA) for eligible healthcare expenses.

Upon enrolling in a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) and setting up a Health Savings Account (HSA), you have two primary methods to access your funds for qualified healthcare expenses:

HSA Debit Card

• Issuance: After enrolling in a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), you'll receive an HSA debit card in the mail from HealthEquity, our HSA administrator.
• Usage: Utilize this card for direct payments at healthcare providers or pharmacies for qualified expenses.
• Advantages: The debit card allows for immediate payment without the need for reimbursement, offering a convenient and straightforward method to pay for healthcare services.

Submit a Claim via HealthEquity Web Portal

• Access: Visit the HealthEquity web portal and log in with your credentials.
• Claim Submission: Navigate to the claims submission area to upload receipts and documents related to healthcare expenses.
• Reimbursement: After review, HealthEquity will reimburse you for approved claims directly from your HSA.
